Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Launch: Expected price, performance, camera, specifications and other key details

Samsung is reportedly gearing up to unveil its next-generation flagship lineup — the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 — later this month. These premium smartphones are expected to headline the company’s portfolio throughout 2026, featuring upgraded hardware and refreshed software enhancements.

If reports are accurate, Samsung could introduce the Galaxy S26 series globally on February 25.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Expected Display and Performance

According to recent leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may feature a large 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is also tipped to offer peak brightness levels of up to 3,000 nits, ensuring improved outdoor visibility.


Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Samsung may offer configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of internal storage, catering to power users.

The battery capacity is rumored to remain at 5000 mAh, while fast charging support could see an upgrade to 60W.

Camera Upgrades: Quad Rear Setup with 200MP Sensor

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to sport a quad-camera setup on the rear. The system is expected to be led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor. In addition, leaks suggest the inclusion of a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor.

For selfies and video calls, Samsung may upgrade the front camera to a 32-megapixel shooter, offering improved clarity and detail.

Expected Price in India

As per leaks, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could carry a starting price of Rs 1,34,999 in India for the base model. However, official pricing details will only be confirmed at launch.
