Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G to be released in India today, check expected price, camera features, battery and key details

Samsung has announced that it will launch the Galaxy F70e 5G in India on February 9, marking the debut model in the newly introduced Galaxy F70 lineup. The company has revealed key details of the smartphone, including its design, display, camera setup and battery capacity.

Samsung confirmed the launch date through a dedicated microsite, stating that the Galaxy F70e 5G will go on sale via Flipkart and the Samsung India online store. Additional details such as pricing, performance specifications, availability and launch offers will be announced on the launch date. Leaks suggest the phone could be priced between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000.

Design and build

Users can choose between Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue colour options, both featuring a vegan leather back paired with flat side elements for a stylish look. The smartphone weighs 199 grams and measures 8.2mm in thickness, giving it a sturdy and premium appearance suited for everyday use, including extended work hours for delivery personnel and field staff.

Camera setup

The Galaxy F70e will feature a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it will house an 8MP selfie camera placed inside a waterdrop-style notch.

Battery and charging

The smartphone will pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging. Samsung said the device is designed to deliver “all day and night” battery backup on a single charge.

Display and design

The Galaxy F70e 5G will offer a 120Hz refresh rate display with up to 800 nits of peak brightness. The handset will be available in Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue colour options, measure 8.2mm in thickness, and feature a premium leather-pattern finish for improved grip and in-hand feel.

Performance and software

The Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G will be powered by the Media Tek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which is claimed to have an AnTuTu score of 6,23,000. The smartphone is tipped to support up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

The device will run One UI 8 based on Android 16 out of the box. Samsung has confirmed that the handset will be eligible for up to six Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates, which would take software support up to Android 22. The Galaxy F70e 5G will also support features such as Knox Vault and Quick Share.
