Samsung Galaxy Book 3 laptop series, Galaxy S23 series smartphones to launch in India: Check date, details

At the company's first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year on February 1, Samsung will unveil its eagerly anticipated Galaxy S23 series of smartphones. The company will also introduce its flagship laptop series, the Samsung Galaxy Book 3, along with the new smartphones. A tech news website called GSMArena reported that the Samsung laptop family will have five models this year, with the Ultra serving as the flagship, according to reports.

A 16-inch 2880 x 1800p AMOLED screen, a 13th generation Intel Core i9 processor, up to 32GB of RAM, 1TB of PCIe NVMe Gen4 storage, and a powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU are all likely to be included. It is reportedly powered by a 76Wh battery, and the laptop includes a 136W charger. It is impressive for a 16" laptop that can fit into a 1.8 kg body and is only 17mm thick at its thickest point. The report also makes reference to an unconfirmed S Pen holster.

The Book3 Pro, on the other hand, is available in two sizes, 14-inch and 16-inch, and features either a Core i5-1340P or Core i7-1360P processor along with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Pro will rely on the built-in Iris Xe graphics, unlike the Ultra. According to GSMArena, the 14-inch model will have a 63Wh battery, while the 16-inch model reportedly has the same 76Wh cell as the Ultra.


Pre-orders for Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Book 3 laptop line have begun in India. On the company's India website, the pre-reservation page for the Galaxy Book 3 series is already active. Prior to the laptop going on sale on February 1 at 11.30 IST, buyers can now pre-reserve one. Customers who pre-reserve laptops will receive additional benefits of Rs 5,000 and a Rs 2,000 shopping voucher that they can use on the Samsung Shop app.
