Samantha Ruth Prabhu to play married woman in Telugu movie 'Kushi'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen in the avatar of a married woman opposite Vijay Deverakonda in the Shiva Nirvana-directed movie 'Kushi'. The actress had been working for the "Citadel India" Indian spin off series lately. The director of 'Kushi' recently shared on Twitter that the actress came back to the sets of Kushi to resume shooting the film.

He further wrote in the post that now everything would be beautiful with the actress coming back to the sets. Samantha was seen cutting a huge cake with the ‘Kushi’ team including Vijay and Shiva.




However, this is not the first time the actress would be seen playing such a role as she has acted as a married woman in the movies ‘Majili’, ‘Manam’ ‘Super Deluxe’ and ‘Theri’ too. ‘Kushi’ is a romantic movie based in Kashmir. Samantha and Vijay are coming together in a movie for the second time with ‘Kushi’ after ‘Mahanati’.

Besides Samantha and Vijay, the star cast of the ‘Kushi’ include Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore and Rahul Ramakrishna. The music of the movie has been composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The shooting of the first schedule of the movie had been completed earlier in Kashmir.
