Samantha Ruth Prabhu credits faith for helping her through difficult times
Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared how her faith helped her through personal and professional challenges in a recent Instagram post.

In her post, Samantha shared a photo of herself meditating in front of an idol and stated that sometimes faith is what gets you through tough times. She added that faith can keep you calm, become your teacher and friend, and make you feel superhuman. Actress-producer Anushka Sharma and fashion designer Krésha Bajaj replied with heart emojis.
Last October, Samantha revealed that she was diagnosed with myositis. In her post, she revealed that it had not been an easy journey but she was grateful for the love and connection she shares with her fans. She acknowledged that vulnerability was something she was still struggling with, but doctors were confident she would make a full recovery soon. Samantha said that she had good days and bad days, both physically and emotionally, but she was one day closer to recovery. She ended the note by saying that she loved her fans and that this too shall pass.
Samantha is preparing for the release of her upcoming film Shaakuntalam, directed by Gunasekhar. The film is based on Kalidasa's AbhigyanamShakuntalam and stars Samantha in the titular role and Dev Mohan as King Dushyanta. The film also features Mohan Babu, Madhoo, Gautami, Aditi Balan, and Ananya Nagalla. The movie will be released on April 14. Samantha will also be seen in the Indian instalment of the international show Citadel with Varun Dhawan and Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda.
