Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has just started filming her new web series, was recently photographed at a temple. On February 13, the actress climbed 600 stairs to the Palani Murugan temple in Tamil Nadu and was spotted praying with her crew.


Samantha's photos of herself climbing the stairs and lighting a camphor diya are going popular on the internet. Samantha was clothed in a conventional suit and a grey scarf.



Samantha Ruth Prabhu began filming for Raj and DK’s online series “Citadel” last month. In this film, she co stars with Varun Dhawan. This is an Indian adaptation of the worldwide series “Citadel”, in which Priyanka Chopra plays one of the stars.


Videos and photos of the Yashoda actress praying in a simple yet exquisite salwar kameez have gone viral on social media. C. Prem Kumar, the director of Jaanu, accompanied her to the temple.

Given that she is getting Myositis therapy, the actress wore her mask at all times. Samantha recently turned to Instagram’s story section and uploaded a photo with her friends Rahul Ravindran and Nandu Reddy as she is undergoing myositis treatment at home.


Samantha’s next film will be the much-anticipated mythological drama “Shaakuntalam”. Gunasekhar wrote and directed the film, which will be released in theatres on April 14, 2023. "Shaakuntalam", based on Kalidas’ classic drama, centres around the epic love tale of Shakuntala, played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and King Dushyant, played by Dev Mohan. Supporting cast members include Mohan Babu, Jisshu Sengupta, Madhoo, Gautami, Aditi Balan, and Ananya Nagalla, among others.
