Samantha-Raj Nidimoru tie knot at Sadhguru's Linga Bhairavi Temple: All about the fierce 'feminine' worshipped as Linga

Telugu superstar Samantha Ruth Prabhu has married filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in a private ceremony at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore on Monday morning. The actress took to her Instagram handle to share the dreamy pictures from her wedding where the couple can be seen seeking blessings at the Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the centre. The intimate wedding ceremony was just attended by 30 close friends and family.

In one the pictures, Raj Nidimoru can be seen putting a ring on Samantha's finger. The actress looked stunning in a red saree and wore heavy jewellery for her special day.

Where is Linga Bhairavi Temple?

Linga Bhairavi is the most exuberant expression of the divine feminine, consecrated by Sadhguru at the Velliangiri Foothills, according to its official website. The Linga Bhairavi temple is a part of the Isha Yoga Center and the main temple is located at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains near Coimbatore, consecrated by Sadhguru.

"Linga Bhairavi is a very powerful, fierce feminine form. But feminine energy worshiped as a linga is rare. A few have been there, but in very withdrawn kinds of situations. Probably this is the first time that this kind of space will be open to the public and handled in a different way altogether," the website reads.

Consecrated by Sadhguru through prana pratishtha, Linga Bhairavi is the ultimate manifestation of the Divine Feminine – powerful and all-encompassing. Fierce and compassionate at once, Devi nurtures her devotees, supporting all aspects of their wellbeing – physical, material, and most importantly, spiritual.

Unique in her manifestation in the form of a linga, it was consecrated by Sadhguru as a powerful feminine energy form. Linga Bhairavi is open to all from 6:30 AM to 1:20 PM and 4:20 PM to 8:30 PM. However, entry to the Yoga Center closes at 8 PM. Visitors can participate in Devi Abhishekam every day at 7:40 AM, 12:40 PM and 7:40 PM.

Samantha-Raj Nidimoru wedding

Speculation about Samantha-Raj Nidimoru's wedding emerged on Sunday night, but the event was confirmed by those present. The couple reportedly started dating in 2023 and over the past year, Samantha has shared several photos with Raj on her social media accounts, fuelling speculation about their relationship.

Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya. They separated four years after their marriage, and Naga Chaitanya later married actor Sobhita Dhulipala. Raj Nidimoru reportedly divorced Sshyamali De in 2022.

Reports of Samantha and Raj Nidimoru's close association had surfaced earlier in 2024. The two worked on The Family Man 2, Citadel: Honey Bunny and the upcoming Rakht Brahmand. Raj also worked as the creative producer on her debut production venture, Subham.
