Bhagyashree may have made Mumbai her home after entering Bollywood, but traces of her royal upbringing are visible throughout her luxurious residence. Born into the royal family of Sangli, the Maine Pyar Kiya actor has created a space that blends traditional elegance with contemporary luxury and personal family memories.

From a dramatic black entrance door and textured statement walls to velvet furniture, chandeliers, a private temple and expansive outdoor areas, the house combines grandeur with warmth. However, the most unusual feature of the property is a naturally formed Ganesha on a tree — a sight that played a major role in the couple's decision to buy the house.

A grand entrance and elegant living spaces

The property opens onto a spacious pathway leading to the parking area, surrounded by greenery. A striking black entrance door with intricate detailing welcomes visitors into the house.


The foyer features a textured white statement wall with a console displaying ornate decorative pieces, including a silver elephant. The living room follows an earthy palette, with plush brown sofas paired with white cushions, creating a warm and sophisticated setting.

The dining area continues the combination of off-white, brown, black and grey. An off-white dining table is paired with patterned chairs and silver tableware. Nearby, a staircase leads to another sitting area where Bhagyashree and her family often entertain guests.

Another corner of the home features a plush green velvet sofa against a textured wooden-brown wall, with indoor plants adding greenery to the dramatic setting.

The natural Ganesha that convinced them to buy the house

The most distinctive feature of Bhagyashree's home is located outdoors. Speaking to Farah Khan on her YouTube channel, the actor revealed that she and her husband, Himalaya Dassani, decided to purchase the property after spotting a naturally formed Ganesha-like shape on a tree.

"We bought this house only because we saw a Ganesha here," Bhagyashree said.

The tree's naturally shaped trunk resembles the face of Lord Ganesha, with formations that appear like eyes and an elephant's trunk. Bhagyashree explained that the formation was entirely natural, adding that Himalaya later added the tusk.

The house underwent extensive renovation after the couple purchased it. Bhagyashree revealed that almost every wall had to be demolished as the property was transformed into their current home.

Private temple and expansive outdoor space

The rear section of the property features black stairs leading towards a private temple. The terrace and outdoor areas also serve as entertaining spaces, with elegant seating, floral decorations and chandeliers creating a party-ready setting.

Large plants surround the outdoor spaces, while a striking white artwork in a black frame adds to the decor. The upper level also houses a bedroom and terrace.

An all-white kitchen with plenty of light

The kitchen stands apart from the darker and earthy tones used elsewhere in the house. Recently renovated, the space features an predominantly white design that reflects Bhagyashree's preference for bright interiors.

Beyond its colour palette, the kitchen offers something particularly valuable in Mumbai — ample space, ventilation and a view. Bhagyashree said she prefers the lighter combination despite the popularity of darker kitchen designs.

A home filled with family memories

Despite its grand interiors, Bhagyashree's home has several deeply personal touches. A dedicated memory wall displays photographs of the actor and her family, turning part of the house into a visual record of their lives.

The property also has an open area that serves as Bhagyashree's personal workout and yoga space. The area features marble flooring, a textured brown wall and a red sofa and is also where the actor often shares glimpses of her fitness routine.

On the work front, Bhagyashree was last seen as Jijabai in Riteish Deshmukh's Raja Shivaji. She also appeared alongside Jackie Shroff in The Great Grand Superhero: Aliens Ka Aagman.
