Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha to meet CM Mamata Banerjee ahead of performance at East Bengal Club

Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha are in Kolkata to perform at a concert that is slated to take place at the East Bengal Club ground on Saturday evening, May 13. Before the event, they are expected to pay a visit to the residence of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kalighat.

Tight security measures have been put in place for the arrival of Salman Khan, who was accompanied by Jacqueline Fernandez, Prabhu Deva, and Ayush Sharma, all of whom arrived at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata on Friday evening. Pooja Hegde is also expected to be present during the concert.

As part of the extended centenary celebrations of the city club, Khan has been scheduled to perform on a show called 'Da-Bangg The Tour Reloaded.' The program is expected to last for almost three hours.


Salman Khan last arrived in West Bengal during the promotion of "Wanted" in 2009, which marks above 13 years.

Bollywood's 'Bhaijaan' was earlier supposed to visit the West Bengal capital in January 2023, however, it couldn't happen. Later, the plans were scheduled for April, but amid Lawrence Bishnoi's threats, as per reports, he changed the plans once again. This time, the security of the actor has been tightened.

There are also rumours of Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde dating, however, Salman Khan's "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" co-star has denied these rumours.
