After facing online trolling over a viral video from his Vancouver concert showing his midriff during a dance performance, Salman responded with a series of gym photos that reveal a sharply toned, ripped physique, signalling a comeback of sorts.

Salman shared two images on Instagram, highlighting his arm and shoulder muscles, captioned: “Kuch haasil karne ke liye kuch chhodna padta hai… Yeh bina chhode hai.” His trainer echoed the sentiment, posting a gym shot of Salman and writing, “Welcome back Salman.” Fans flooded the comments section—one called him the “Fitness icon of Bollywood Bhaijaan ❤️,” while another cheekily added, “He is working hard, but he should understand that fans want him to work hard on the sets, not in the gym.”

Criticism to Transformation

The trolling stemmed from a clip where Salman’s shirt rode up during a dance number from Tiger 3, revealing his belly. Social media users were quick to highlight what they saw as a lapse in his fitness regimen. Yet, Salman has historically been resilient in facing public scrutiny. At the trailer launch event for Sikandar, he admitted that he often misses sleep due to rigorous routines, only to prove himself to social media critics. “Beech mein aisa gadbad ho jaata hai ki 6-7 raat soye nahin, fir vo social media vaale peeche padd jaate hain, unko dikhaana padta hai ki abhi bhi hai,” he said.

While many fans hailed the actor’s determination, others expressed concern over the obsession with celebrity bodies. Some questioned whether the focus on physicality detracts from his cinematic contributions, while a new comment on the post pointed out, “It’s great he’s back in shape, but we want the old Salman energy on screen, not just in gym selfies.”
