Salaam Venky starring Kajol , Vishal Jethwa hits theaters today. The movie gets an emotional review by netizens. It is based on Shrikant Murthy's book The Last Hurray which is inspired by the true story of his young chess player, Kolavennu Venkatesh.

The film also features a cameo appearance by Aamir Khan, with Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj and Ahana Kumla playing prominent roles. Salaam Venky is about terminally ill boy's last wish of organ donation which is only possible after euthanasia.

Vishal Jethwa was last seen in the web series HUMAN. He was also seen in the movie Mardaani 2 for which he was nominated for the Filmfare award for best male debut, and also won the zee cine award for best debut actor male. The movie is directed by Revathy who was seen as an actress in movies like ‘love’, ‘2 states’ and many more.
