‘Salaam Venky’ starring Kajol gets OTT release date. Check details

Bollywood actress Kajol-starring film ‘Salaam Venky’ will make its digital debut on ZEE5 on February 10, the streaming service said on Friday. ‘The slice-of-life drama’, which was directed by Revathy and co-written by Kausar Munir and Sameer Arora, hit theatres on December 9, 2022. As a mother of two, Kajol claimed that playing Sujata in ‘Salaam Venky’ was a character that she could relate to on an emotional level.

The actor stated in a statement that the one lesson she has taken away from ‘Salaam Venky’ is to not waste time worrying about the future or dwelling on the past. She said that she was honoured to be recognised for such an important movie and was pleased that her fans will be able to view it again on ZEE5.”

The crew is thrilled to release the movie on ZEE5 for a bigger audience, according to Revathy. She said that after receiving a tonne of praise in theatres, they can't wait for the people to watch it again on ZEE5.
