‘Saiyaara’ duo Ahaan Panday & Aneet Padda flip the script on paparazzi in Mumbai

The blockbuster success of Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara has catapulted its debut leads, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, into instant stardom. Since the film’s release, the pair has become a paparazzi favourite, frequently drawing attention in public.

On Saturday, the two were spotted in Mumbai, but instead of the usual photo-op, they decided to turn the tables. In a now-viral video, Ahaan and Aneet are seen inside a car watching something on a phone as photographers tried capturing them through the windows. In a playful move, Aneet pointed the phone toward the paparazzi, revealing they were filming the photographers instead.

Later that day, Ahaan made a fan’s day by rolling down his car window at a traffic light to pose for a selfie.


Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films CEO Akshay Widhani, Saiyaara has shattered records to become the highest-grossing romantic film in Indian cinema history, collecting over ₹500 crore worldwide, including ₹317 crore in India. The movie marks Ahaan Panday’s acting debut, while Aneet Padda — previously seen in Salaam Venky and Big Girls Don’t Cry — plays her first leading role.

The story revolves around the romance between singer Krish (Ahaan Panday) and lyricist Va (Aneet Padda), whose heartfelt journey has left audiences both smiling and in tears.
