The organisation stated that a detailed notification containing eligibility criteria, application dates, selection procedures and other recruitment instructions will be issued during the second fortnight of July 2026. Online applications will begin after the release of the detailed advertisement and will be accepted only through the official websites of the participating power utilities.
Vacancies spread across five power utilities
The recruitment campaign covers Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (RVUN), Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd. (RVPN), Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (JVVN), Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (AVVN) and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (JdVVN).Out of the total 2,005 vacancies, 869 positions have been earmarked for Junior Engineers, 371 for Junior Accountants and 765 for Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II posts. The highest number of openings has been announced for Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II.
Among the engineering posts, 727 vacancies are available for Junior Engineer-I (Electrical), 110 for Junior Engineer-I (Mechanical) and 32 for Junior Engineer-I (Civil). Reservations for various categories will be implemented in accordance with applicable rules.
Eligibility criteria and application fee
Candidates between 18 and 28 years of age will be eligible to apply, provided they meet the prescribed educational qualifications.Applicants seeking Junior Engineer positions must hold a three-year diploma in the relevant engineering discipline. Candidates applying for Junior Accountant posts should possess a graduate degree in Commerce or a related field. For Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II positions, candidates must be graduates and meet the required computer proficiency and typing skill standards.
The application fee has been set at Rs. 1,000 for candidates belonging to the Unreserved category. Applicants from SC, ST, BC, MBC, EWS, PwBD and Saharia categories will be required to pay Rs. 500. Payment can be made online through BHIM UPI, net banking and approved debit card modes.
Selection process and pay scale
The selection process will consist of a written examination followed by document verification and a medical examination.For Junior Engineer posts, candidates will appear for a written test carrying 200 marks. Selected candidates for Junior Engineer positions will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 33,800 under Pay Level 10, along with applicable allowances.
