Rs 76 lakh from a reel, Rs 25 lakh for dinner: Influencer Orry reveals how he makes money
Internet personality Orry has revealed the business behind his social media fame, claiming he earned ₹76 lakh from a single Instagram reel and charges between ₹15 lakh and ₹25 lakh for attending events, dinners, weddings, and birthdays.

During a recent podcast appearance, Orry said that events and what he calls "paid friendships" are his biggest sources of income.
Speaking on the 'Learn by KK Create' podcast hosted by Kavya Karnatac, Orry discussed the various ways he monetizes his fame, from brand deals to what he calls "paid friendships."
One of the biggest revelations from the conversation was the amount he claims to have earned from a recent social media campaign.
“Last month I made Rs 76 lakhs on just one deal, like one reel,” Orry said, highlighting the earning potential of influencer marketing.
However, he said social media collaborations are not his primary source of income.
“I make my most money from events and paid friendships,” he said.
Explaining the concept, Orry revealed that people hire him to attend birthdays, weddings, lunches, and dinners. According to him, clients pay for the experience of having him at their events, where he interacts with guests and spends time with hosts.
“(For) Rs 15 to Rs 25 lakhs, you can buy me for lunch, you can buy me for dinner, I'll come to your wedding, I'll come to your birthday, and I'll give a speech as if we're childhood friends. I'll hang out with you, have shots with your parents, and touch everyone you want. It's an experience you can buy,” he said.
The influencer also spoke about his signature social media pose, claiming that only two poses are widely recognized in India.
“Hindustan mein sirf do logon ke poses famous hain: Shah Rukh Khan and Orry. So I really love that I've reached that status,” he said.
When asked who manages his finances, Orry revealed that his parents still handle his money.
“My mom and my dad,” he said, adding, “I'm never going to grow out of that.”
His comments sparked widespread discussion online, with many users describing him as a successful example of personal branding and the growing creator economy.
