The controversy started when an entrepreneur, Ravi Handa shared a post on X. Netizens furious over job posting
The post has triggered sharp backlash online, with many users calling out what they see as unrealistic expectations and severe underpayment for a senior-level position. Many people termed it as 'exploitative compensation' disguised as an opportunity. This means the person is entirely devoid of any skills or the VC is some top shot guy who is putting this as an opportunity for people to work with him/her. (We have seen this before)," a netizen commented.
"How does this get past moderators. Even in a closed group I assume there are people that call out such nonsense. 5K is not even a livable wage," another one wondered.
"Never thought I’ll see 15k + ESOPs in one line," wrote another. "Is this serious?", asked another.
