Rs 10 internship: Social media post goes viral as netizens draw comparison with Vishal Mega Mart memes

The social media erupted into a meme fest after a company's alleged stipend for an internship at Rs 10 went viral.

While sharing a screenshot of a LinkedIn job posting, a social media user said 'internship opportunity' in the caption, leading to meme fest on social media platform X. However, few have also pointed out that it could also be an error on the part of the company while uploading the job ad.

Some are speculating that the ₹10 stipend might be a typo, suggesting the developer may have accidentally missed a “k,” meaning it was supposed to be ₹10,000. One person remarked, “Maybe the developer was in a rush and forgot to add the 'k'.”

Another chimed in, “Instead of quoting such a low amount, they might as well offer it for free and pitch it as a great learning opportunity.”

Company's clarification on the internship:
A LinkedIn post on Monday evening revealed that Faclon Labs had issued a clarification, attributing the stipend confusion to an error by the job-listing site, which had altered the original amount.
