RRR's Ram Charan dons the producer hat with new movie announcement; Here's what you need to know

South Indian actor Ram Charan has just dropped some pretty big news on social media. He made a new film announcement but he won't be the one headlining the project. Rather his production house is bankrolling the film, called The India House, named after the base of Veer Savarkar's activities in London. He dropped the announcement promo on social media.

Ram Charan, gained overnight fame when his film RRR hit the world stage, is now all set to produce his first-ever film. The film will star Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupam Kher in lead roles. He shared the animated promo on Twitter.

Sharing the promo, Ram wrote, “On the occasion of the 140th birth anniversary of our great freedom fighter Veer Savarkar Garu we are proud to announce our pan India film - THE INDIA HOUSE headlined by Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupam Kher ji & director Ram Vamsi Krishna! 'The India House' is set in the pre-independence era in London. The teaser hints at a film that unfolds a love story during a time of political turmoil around India House. It was, incidentally, a residence for Indian students run by the nationalist lawyer and editor of the 'Indian Sociologist', Shyamji Krishna Varma. The promo also had the burning imagery of the India House.

Amid a successful acting career, dad-to-be Ram Charan donned the producer's hat by launching his production banner, V Mega Pictures, in association with Vikram Reddy of UV Creations. The promo of their first project, The India House, was unveiled on May 28, in association with Abhishek Agarwal Arts.

Ram Vamsi Krishna is all set to make his directorial debut with The India House. The film stars Nikhil Siddhartha as Shiva and Anupam Kher as Shyamji Krishna Varma. The announcement was made on the occasion of freedom fighter Vir Sarvakar’s 140th birth anniversary.

In the meantime, Ram Charan, is set to appear in 'Game Changer,' directed by the renowned S Shankar. The film boasts a stellar cast, including S. J. Suryah, Nassar, Kiara Advani, Anjali, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, Naveen Chandra, and Rajeev Kanakala, all of whom are expected to deliver remarkable performances. With Shankar's directorial expertise and Ram Charan's on-screen presence, 'Game Changer' promises to be a thrilling cinematic experience for the audience.
