'RRR' superstar Ram Charan was nervous during Oscars ceremony, reveals wife Upasana Konidela

At the 95th Academy Awards ceremony, the team behind the movie 'RRR' created history by winning an Oscar in the Best Original Song category for their song 'Naatu Naatu.' Among the attendees were SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, MM Keeravani, and others. Ram Charan's wife, Upasana Konidela, also accompanied him to the event. Recently, she shared her thoughts on why it was crucial for her to support her actor-husband during the Oscar campaign.

According to Upasana, Ram Charan was visibly nervous during the momentous Oscars ceremony, and she wanted to provide him with as much emotional support as possible. She also shared that the trip to Los Angeles felt like a great vacation for her and that it was a lovely experience to be able to spend time with her husband during this important event, as per reports.




Despite being in unfamiliar surroundings, Upasana mentioned that everyone was very welcoming and hospitable, as she recounted to Humans of Bombay.

Further elaborating on her experience, Upasana shared that her presence at the Oscars was significant as it represented the unity of the RRR team, who have become like a big family over the years. She mentioned that she had been with the team during the filming of the 'Naatu Naatu' song in Ukraine, and then again at the Oscars.

Upasana also revealed that SS Rajamouli, the director, has been a constant support system for her, both during her tough times at work and during her moments of success.
