RRB NTPC New Vacancy 2025 Notification Out: Eligibility and post details

Out of the total posts, 5,817 are for graduates with a Bachelor’s degree, while 3,058 are for candidates who have passed Class 12 (10+2). Eligible posts include Station Master, Goods Guard, Commercial Clerk, Accounts Clerk, Junior Typist, Trains Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, and Traffic Assistant.

The age limit is 18–30 years for undergraduate posts and up to 33 years for graduate-level positions. Relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen as per government rules.

RRB NTPC Vacancy 2025 Notification Out: Selection process

The recruitment will be conducted through two computer-based tests (CBT-1 and CBT-2). Skill tests, typing or aptitude tests will follow where required. Document verification and a medical examination will be the final stages of the process.

CBT-1 will consist of 100 questions: 40 from General Awareness, 30 from Mathematics, and 30 from General Intelligence & Reasoning. CBT-2 will include 120 questions: 50 from General Awareness, 35 from Mathematics, and 35 from General Intelligence & Reasoning. Both exams will run for 90 minutes each. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
