RRB Group-D exam date out: Check revised schedule, city intimation and e-call letter details

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are expected to release a revised exam schedule for CEN 08/2024 today. Admit cards will be issued about four days before the new exam date, while city intimation slips will be released a few days earlier. Candidates have been advised to refer only to official RRB portals for updates.

According to the tentative schedule, the computer-based test for various posts in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix is set to be held from November 27, 2025, to January 16, 2026. The link for viewing exam city and date, along with travel authority for SC/ST candidates, will go live on November 19, 2025, or earlier on the official RRB websites.

RRBs said SMS and email alerts are being sent to candidates whose city intimation slips have been activated on their registered IDs. E-call letters will be available for download four days prior to the exam date mentioned in the intimation link.


Candidates can retrieve their application registration number and password through www.rrbapply.gov.in
using the login credentials or by using the forget password option. For queries, candidates may contact the helpdesk at +91 9513631887 from Monday to Saturday between 9 am and 6 pm. A helpdesk link is also available after login with the city intimation link.

RRBs reiterated that only official websites should be used for updates and cautioned candidates against unauthenticated sources.

Over 1.08 crore candidates have applied for the Group D recruitment under CEN 08/2024. The Mumbai region received the highest number of applications at 15.59 lakh. The recruitment drive will fill 32,438 vacancies.
