Royal Enfield launches updated versions of Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 with new colour schemes and added features in India.

Royal Enfield has unveiled the 2023 versions of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in India. The bikes are priced at Rs 3.03 lakh and Rs 3.19 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). Bookings for the new models have already begun at all Royal Enfield stores across the country.

The Interceptor 650 has been launched in four new colour schemes, including two blacked-out variants called Black Ray and Barcelona Blue. It also comes in a new custom dual colorway called Black Pearl, and a Cali Green solid colorway. The bike retains its three existing colours: Mark 2, Sunset Strip and Canyon Red.

Meanwhile, the Continental GT 650 comes in two new blacked-out versions called Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey, which will be sold alongside the existing colour options of Mr Clean, Dux Deluxe, British Racing Green and Rocker Red.


Both bikes have been updated with new switchgear, a USB charging port, and an LED headlamp as standard features. The blacked-out variants of the Interceptor and the Continental GT also come with blacked-out engine and exhaust parts. The bikes ride on cast alloy wheels and tubeless tyres as standard.

The Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 have garnered a lot of love from riders all across the world, according to Royal Enfield CEO B. Govindarajan. The new colours, especially the all-black variants with alloys, will give customers more reasons to ride these motorcycles, while the new functional upgrades will add to a fun and enjoyable riding experience.

The 650 Twins were first launched by Royal Enfield in September 2018 in India. The Interceptor 650 falls in the roadster segment of motorcycles, while the Continental GT 650 is a cafe racer.
