Rohit Sharma mocks Yuzvendra Chahal while giving a sneak peak of Raipur ’s new stadium’s dressing room

Yuzvendra Chahal, the top Indian spinner, wanted to offer fans an inside glimpse at the team's dressing room, but was mercilessly mocked by Indian captain Rohit Sharma during one session.


The 32-year-old cricketer was seen giving viewers an inside peek at the facilities in the dressing room, from the luxurious chairs to the massage table and the food counter, on the most recent episode of Chahal TV.



Chahal can be heard humorously addressing Ishan Kishan about his contribution to the latter's double century against Bangladesh in Chattogram last month in a video posted by the BCCI's official Twitter handle on December 10, 2022.


Indian captain Rohit Sharma made a brief cameo in the video and roasted Chahal with a one-liner. While Chahal was extolling the comforts in the locker area, Rohit jokes, “Accha future hai tera”.




Chahal did not play in India's first ODI against New Zealand, and there are few possibilities that he would play in Raipur as well. India elected to continue with Kuldeep Yadav in the first ODI after he replaced Chahal in the XI against Sri Lanka in the second ODI last week in Kolkata.


After defeating New Zealand by a 12-run margin in the first ODI in Hyderabad on Wednesday (January 18), team India will try to complete the three-match series against the Kiwis on Saturday (January 21) at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. This will be the first international match hosted in the 65,000-capacity stadium in Chhattisgarh's capital city.
