Roblox Grow a Garden: How to get and use the lobster thermidor pet

The latest Cooking Event in Grow a Garden has brought several exciting additions to the Roblox game, including the Lobster Thermidor, a Divine rarity pet inspired by the famous seafood dish. This rare companion has two special traits that can turn nearby fruits into molten or meteoric versions, increasing their value.

The Lobster Thermidor is only available through the Culinarian Chest, but the drop rate is just 1 percent, meaning you will likely need to open multiple chests to get it. To obtain the Culinarian Chest, you must find the Rat Connoisseur, a special NPC that appears during the Cooking Event. Give him a mutated food and he will present you with three possible rewards. There is a 40 percent chance that one of these rewards will be the Culinarian Chest.

When opened, the Culinarian Chest can yield various items. Rhubarb and Bacon Pig each have a 34.5 percent drop rate, Hotdog Dachshund and Badlands Pepper each have a 14.5 percent drop rate, while Lobster Thermidor and King Cabbage are the rarest with just a 1 percent chance each.


Once unlocked, the Lobster Thermidor offers valuable abilities. Every 15 minutes, there is a 20 percent chance that it will turn a nearby fruit molten, and every 30 minutes there is a 10 percent chance it will turn a nearby fruit meteoric. These abilities can significantly boost the value of your fruits, making Lobster Thermidor a prized addition to any garden during the event.
