Rinku Singh engaged to Lok Sabha MP Priya Saroj? Viral social media post claims

Star Indian cricketer Rinku Singh is reportedly engaged to Lok Sabha MP from Macchlishahr Priya Saroj.

While there's no confirmation through their official social media handles, the post on X quickly went viral.

Rinku Singh plays for the Indian cricket team in the limited overs format and for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. As for Saroj, she won the Machhlishahr Lok Sabha seat at 25 for the Samajwadi Party, becoming one of the youngest MPs.


She has also worked as a Supreme Court lawyer.

Who is Rinku Singh's fiance?

Priya Saroj, born on November 23, 1998, in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, is a member of the Samajwadi Party and one of the youngest leaders to make her mark on Indian politics.

Priya Saroj is the daughter of Tufani Saroj, a three-time Member of Parliament and current MLA from Uttar Pradesh. Following in her father’s footsteps, Priya carved her own path in politics and was elected to the Lok Sabha in 2024, representing the Machhlishahr constituency. She defeated B.P.

Saroj with a remarkable margin of 35,850 votes, becoming the second-youngest candidate to achieve this feat in Indian parliamentary history.

Priya completed her schooling at the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Delhi University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Amity University, Noida.
