Arijit Singh’s Roke Na Ruke Naina is beautifully sung by Delhi cop; Amaal Mallik and Kumaar respond

A Delhi cop became an overnight sensation after a video of him singing a rendition of a popular Hindi song wowed millions of people. Rajat Rathor performed a cover of the song Roke Na Ruke Naina from the 2017 film Badrinath Ki Dulhania on Instagram. Arijit Singh performed the emotional song, which was filmed with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. The song was composed by Amaal Mallik, and the lyrics were written by Kumaar.

Rajat Rathor, a Delhi cop, says in his Instagram bio that he is a singer, writer, and composer. On the platform, the cop has over 45,000 followers and regularly posts videos showcasing his musical talent. Rathor can be seen singing the song from the film Badrinath Ki Dulhania, which was originally sung by Arijit Singh, in a video posted three days ago.

Rathor can be seen singing the song in a melodic voice and playing the guitar on stage in his most recent video. Two additional cops are seen playing musical instruments. “Pov: You are following your passion and duty at the same time”, a text insert on the video says.




Since it was posted, the video has received over 26 million views, making it viral. Rathor tagged Amaal Mallik, the song’s composer and music director. Mallik responded to the video by writing, “Incredible thank you”.
