Inside Rhea Chakraborty’s new home
Rhea recently moved into her new apartment on Bandra’s Linking Road. At the time of the home tour, she had been living there for around 15 to 20 days, with some parts of the house still being completed, reported Hindustan Times. The interiors combine a minimalist aesthetic with lavish details, featuring white walls, wooden flooring, earthy tones, statement décor and plenty of natural light.
A spacious and elegant living room
The elevator in Rhea’s building opens directly into her home. Visitors enter through a foyer that leads into the living room and office area. The foyer and living room are separated by a black metal-framed glass door. The spacious living area has been kept relatively uncluttered, with carefully selected furniture and décor.
The seating area features comfortable couches in cream, brown and green tones, along with embroidered cushions, a round wooden table, planters, a metal accent table, a colourful painting, a large rug and a knitted throw.
A wall of metal-framed glass windows overlooks Linking Road and allows natural light to flood the room. Linen curtains and ambient lighting add to the relaxed atmosphere.
The foyer itself features leather armchairs, a stylish table and a decorative vase.
The dining area
The dining area sits within the same large open space as the living room. It features a light-coloured wood-and-wicker oval dining table surrounded by elegant tableware.Plants and a decorative runner add detail to the setup, while a vintage console table decorated with wicker vases and an elegant mirror adds another layer to the interiors.
Rhea’s huge glam room and closet
One of the standout spaces in the home is Rhea’s glam room and closet, which Farah Khan described as “huge”.The space includes a dedicated area where Rhea gets ready, along with a large closet for her extensive wardrobe. It stores clothes and accessories that she uses for shows such as Roadies and The Traitors, as well as pieces from her clothing brand, Chapter 2.
Although the space appears to combine two separate rooms, Rhea explained that it was originally one large room. She chose to transform it into a walk-in closet and dedicated glam area.
The home, still relatively new when the tour was filmed, reflects Rhea’s preference for a clean, contemporary look while incorporating statement furniture, greenery, artwork and personal touches.
