Australia and India will face off in the final of the World Test Championship on June 7, 2023, at the Oval in London. England, Pakistan, West Indies, New Zealand, and Bangladesh are ranked in the ascending order.

New Zealand's win over Sri Lanka in the first test in Christchurch ensured that India will face Australia in the WTC final. This will be India's second appearance in the WTC final, having lost to New Zealand in the inaugural edition (2019-2021).

Immediately following the WTC final, the Ashes series between Australia and England will start on June 16, marking the start of the third edition of the World Test Championship.
