Results of SSC CGL Tier 1 exam now out; how to check

For candidates who took the CBT exam, the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) Tier 1 results are now out online.

The candidates who secured merit positions and have already been shortlisted for SSC CGL Tier 2 and Tier 3 examinations can see their Tier 1 results online at www.ssc.nic.in.

The CBT examination took place between April 11-21, 2022 to fill various government posts such as Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant Audit Officer, Statistical Investigator, Junior Statistical Officer and more.


Candidates should note that the CGL SSC Tier 1 cut-off is different for different posts.

One needs to follow this procedure to check the results online:

• Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Committee – ssc.nic.in.
• Click on the link ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier 1), 2021 – Declaration of Result of Tier-I for short-listing candidates to appear in Tier-II & Tier-III Examination’ present on the home page.
• On clicking the link above, a new page showing the list of respective posts in the form of a PDF file opens.
• The candidate can check his name by scrolling through the list if he/she is shortlisted.
• For future references, download and take a printout of this PDF file of shortlisted candidates.

The category-wise cut-offs for the SSC CGL Tier 1 examination are as listed below:

• SC – 136.76
• ST – 131.61
• OBC – 153.37
• EWS – 156.81
• UR – 159.07

Candidates can cross-check these cut-off marks on the website of the Staff Selection Committee. Also, shortlisted candidates need to to keep a check on the official website for updates on SSC CGL Tier 2 and Tier 3 examinations.
