It is most likely now that Liverpool star Sadio Mane will be leaving the club sooner. Although it is still being speculated and no official decision has been taken in this regard, recent developments have indicated the same. Several reports have suggested that the 30-year-old star footballer has been in talks with Bayern Munich for a summer move.

Talks of Mane's leaving Liverpool have gained strength as the Senegal player's contract with Liverpool will expire in 2023. The German publication Sport 1 recently published that Mane intended to leave Liverpool and did not want to stay. As per Sport 1, the star player wants to leave the club due to a "lack of financial appreciation." However, Mane earns £100,000 a week, which is half if compared to the earnings of Virgil van Djik, Thiago Alcantara, and Mohamed Salah.

However, Bayern Munich is not the only club interested in Sadio Mane. Spanish biggie Real Madrid has also shown interest in securing a deal with the Liverpool star. Besides, according to Sport 1, French titan Paris Saint-Germain is also in the race to add Mane to its roaster.

With such big clubs showing interest in Mane, the player is expected to bag a big deal in the summer window if everything goes as per the recent trends.

Mane has emerged as a critical player in the Liverpool lineup recently. He was the best performer from the Liverpool squad in 2022. The Liverpool star scored 23 goals for Liverpool this season across all tournaments. He had joined Liverpool FC after playing as an attacker for Southampton.

Speaking on this matter, Mane said that he would take any decision only after the UEFA Champions League Final this week. Liverpool is set to face Real Madrid for the tournament's final on May 28 in Paris.
