Reliance Jio services restored after major outage; Kerala worst affected

The services are now restored according to the official statement by the company. Meanwhile, earlier Reliance Jio faced a significant nationwide service outage on Monday afternoon, with users experiencing major disruptions in mobile internet, JioFiber, and voice connectivity.

Data from Downdetector revealed that 54% of the user complaints were related to mobile internet issues, while 27% were about JioFiber and 19% involved mobile network problems. The outage impacted users across several major cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Kochi, and Chandigarh.

Downdetector reported an unusual surge in complaints, far exceeding the typical volume for that time of day. The platform confirms an outage only when the number of problem reports goes well beyond the normal baseline.


Numerous users also turned to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share their experiences with the outage. According to user reports, Reliance Jio customers in Kerala are encountering difficulties in accessing Jio services.
