Reena Roy during an interview opened up about the struggles she faced to get her daughter's custody from ex-husband Mohsin Khan.

Reena Roy, a 70s and 80s renowned Bollywood actor recently revealed that after her divorce, she had to struggle to get custody of her daughter. Roy, who made her debut in Bollywood with Zaroorat, had ruled the silver screens with several of her super hit films.

Reena in 1983 tied the knot to famous Pakistani cricketer Mohsin Khan and was blessed with a baby girl. Later, the actor moved to Pakistan. However, the couple parted ways, and the actor moved back to India in 1992. During a conversation with an Indian newspaper, Reena revealed that she had to fight in order to get her daughter back. In an interesting revelation, the actor said that she even went to take the help of saints and sadhus.

When Mohsin and Reena's baby was born, the couple named her Jannat. However, after gaining custody of Janat, Reena changed her name to Sanam. Reena reportedly filed for divorce from her ex-husband because she couldn't handle his way of life. The former Pakistani cricketer allegedly wanted to live with Reena in London and acquire British citizenship. She added that Mohsin had sought to keep their daughter away from her because he believed the actor would accompany them to London and establish a home there.

Meanwhile, in a recent audio interview, the actor revealed her equation with her ex-husband. Reena claimed that Mohsin is her daughter's father. She said that he communicates with her. The actor further added that the father-daughter duo has a strong relationship.
