Xiaomi is gearing up for its next major mid-range smartphone launch, with reports suggesting that the Redmi Note 15 series could debut in India on January 6, 2026. The upcoming lineup is expected to include the Redmi Note 15, Redmi Note 15 Pro, and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, featuring notable upgrades in display, battery, performance, and camera technology.

Expected Specifications and Features

Early leaks suggest that the base Redmi Note 15 may come equipped with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset paired with HyperOS 2.

Battery capacity is said to exceed 5500mAh, with support for 45W fast charging. The phone may also feature an IP65 rating for dust and water protection. On the camera front, it may include a 108MP primary lens, 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 20MP front camera, while maintaining a light build weighing roughly 170 grams.


For higher-end models, the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus may use a slightly larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display, again offering 120Hz refresh. The Pro Plus variant is rumoured to include the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, whereas the Pro may come with the Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor. Both models are expected to include Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a more durable IP68 rating. Camera specifications may feature a 200MP main sensor with an 8MP ultrawide lens, while the Pro Plus could house a 6500mAh battery.
