The launch comes as Redmi looks to build on the success of its Note series and Pad lineup. While the Redmi Note 15 has already debuted in China, the Indian version will come with different specifications and software tweaks. Leaks and official teasers have revealed several key details ahead of the launch.
Redmi Note 15: Expected price and variants
As per leaks, the Redmi Note 15 will be launched in India with 8GB RAM and two storage options. The 128GB variant could be priced at ₹22,999, while the 256GB variant may cost ₹24,999.For comparison, the Redmi Note 14 was launched at ₹19,999 for the 8GB+128GB version and ₹21,999 for the 8GB+256GB version.
Redmi Note 15: Design
The Redmi Note 15 will come with an IP66 rating, offering protection against light water splashes. At just 7.35mm thick, the phone is also positioned as a slim and sleek device in its category.Redmi Note 15: Camera
The Redmi Note 15 will feature a dual rear camera setup with an LED flash. The phone will feature a 108-megapixel primary sensor that supports 4K video recording with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).It will also offer multifocal portrait and dynamic shots. The smartphone will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 octa-core processor, built on a 4nm process. The chipset can clock speeds of up to 2.4GHz and promises better efficiency and smoother performance. Redmi claims the phone can deliver 48 months of lag-free performance.
