Redmi Note 12 4G design renders leaked ahead of official launch

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 4G is going to be launched in the global and Indian markets soon. It can be one of the most affordable phones in the Note 12 series. However, its design renders have surfaced online, and the leaked material suggests a few key features of the phone.

According to the renders leaked by Sudhanshu Ambhore, the design of Redmi Note 12 4G will be similar to its Pro counterparts. It is expected to be launched in three colour options: blue, grey and green. The phone appears to have a flat frame with curved corners. The leaks suggest that the rear panel houses a triple-camera setup.

On the phone’s right edge, it is expected to have the power and volume buttons, and the SIM tray will be on the left edge. The bottom edge appears to have the USB Type-C port, primary speakers and a microphone cutout. The top is expected to house a 3.5mm audio jack, an IR blaster and a cutout for secondary speakers. Redmi Note 12 4G is seen to have a hole-punch cutout on the top centre of its front panel. The chin bezel appears to be slightly thicker than the rest of the bezels.


The tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore uploaded a live image of the phone with the ‘About Phone’ settings page. The details on it suggest that Redmi Note 12 4G could have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC, with a clockspeed of 2.8GHz. The leaks suggest that this phone will have 4GB RAM and 3GB of virtual RAM support. Furthermore, it is said to be launched with Android 13 out-of-the-box and MIUI 14 on top.
