Also known as Roland Garros, French Open is a two-week tournament at the Stade Roland Garros Stadium in Paris, France. The tournament happens every year around late May each year.
The French Open is the second of the four series match, the Grand Slam. The other three are the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open.

Congratulations are in order as a young US teenager reaches the court round at the French Open. CoCo Gauff, who is 18 years old, defeated Kaia Kanepi to reach the next round. Interestingly enough, Gauff is the youngest player, while Kaneki is the eldest at the tournament.

What are updates from the French Open?
The 17th seeded Fernandez defeated Bencic in the 11th game. It was a deciding set and served out well I'm Fernandez's favour. In the opener, Fernandez saved a good two set points.
After that, Fernandez was up against Amanda Anisimova. The 20-year-old player reached the semifinals at Roland Garros in 2019.
What about the other rounds?
Karolina Muchova had a bad injury to her right ankle. She ended up stopping playing due to the injury. Her opponent Amanda Anisimova moved towards the fourth round of the French Open.
Anisimova defeated the four time grand slam champion Naomi Osaka in the first round. Anisimova is an American Player who reached the semifinals of the French Open at the age of 17 in 2019. She was leading the match with the score-

Unfortunately for Muchova, she twisted her right ankle during the second set. She was serving at 2-all. Right after that, she moved towards the sidelines to get checked by a doctor and trainer. When the match resumed, Muchova dropped seven games in a row due to poor movement.
More news came as Diego Schwartzman defeated defending champion Novak Djokovic and moved ahead towards the fourth round. Next, Schwartzman will play against either Aijaz Bedene or Djokovic. In this round, the 15th-seeded Schwartzman had a score of 6-0 against Djokovic.

The men's draw had its third round on Day 6 at the French Open.
Novak Djokovic continued to move ahead at the Court Philippe Chatrier after playing against Alijaz Benden Of Slovenia.
Fifth-seeded Rafael Nadal faced Botic Van De Zandschulp and won with a score of 8-0.
Alcatraz, who was undefeated since faced his only defeat to Korda on clay. This loss was after 19 matches on clay.
American Player Korda is 21 years old. He defeated Alcatraz last month in Monte Carlo.
