Ravi Teja’s action-comedy Mass Jathara is now streaming on Netflix after its theatrical release on October 31, 2025. Directed by Bhanu Bogavarapu, the film features Ravi Teja as a sincere transport police officer and Sreeleela as a schoolteacher, with a romantic track running between their characters. Although the movie generated positive buzz and early viewers labelled it a “complete entertainer,” it struggled to perform at the box office. Mass Jathara is now available to stream in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

Ravi Teja plays Lakshman Bheri, a dedicated officer known for his sharp instincts and unwavering commitment to duty. Sreeleela appears as Ammu, a teacher who becomes his love interest, adding lighter emotional moments to the narrative. Naveen Chandra takes on the role of the antagonist, K. G. Reddy, whose criminal operations set up the film’s central conflict.

The story follows Lakshman as he embarks on a high-risk mission to track down K. G. Reddy and his gang. The cat-and-mouse chase forms the backbone of the plot, blending action sequences with comedy-driven situations. Despite its scale, Mass Jathara underperformed financially. Made on an estimated budget of ₹70 crore, the film reportedly collected only ₹19 crore at the box office, according to Hindustan Times. However, viewers who caught the movie in theatres praised its entertainment quotient, lively performances and mass appeal.
