With the monsoon season already making its presence felt in various parts of India, especially in Mumbai, Tata Chairman Emeritus, of Tata Sons, Ratan Tata, has taken to social media to deliver a compassionate message regarding the safety and sheltering of stray animals found on the streets.

In a recent tweet, accompanied by a photograph of a black stray dog, Tata urged people to be mindful of the animals seeking refuge beneath parked cars during the heavy rains. He emphasized the importance of checking under vehicles before starting and driving them, in order to prevent accidental harm to these vulnerable creatures. By remaining unaware of their presence, these animals can suffer severe injuries, disabilities, and even death. Tata also expressed a heartwarming desire for individuals to extend temporary shelter to these animals during the pouring rain this season.
