Rashmika-Vijay’s wedding reception is set to take place on 4 March in Hyderabad, following their intimate wedding ceremony last week. Newlywed actor Rashmika Mandanna met Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana, on Sunday to formally invite him to the celebrations.

During the courtesy visit, Rashmika also met the Chief Minister’s wife, Geetha, and their daughter. Visuals from the meeting showed Geetha offering her blessings to the actor, marking a warm and personal moment ahead of the reception.

Temple Visit in Hyderabad Ahead of Reception

Earlier on Sunday morning, Rashmika and Vijay Deverakonda visited a temple in Hyderabad to offer prayers and seek blessings for their married life.


The couple’s visit reflects their continued emphasis on faith and tradition throughout their wedding celebrations.

Sweet Distribution Across 23 Cities and Annadanam at Temples

As part of their celebrations, the couple distributed thousands of sweet boxes across 23 cities nationwide through their team. Major cities included Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, among others.

Simultaneously, Annadanam, the sacred offering of food, was conducted at multiple temples across India. The initiative underlined the couple’s desire to mark their union by giving back to the community while seeking divine blessings.

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda tied the knot on 26 February in Udaipur, in the presence of close friends and family members. The ceremony was kept private, with only select guests in attendance.

Their wedding has generated widespread attention among fans and the film fraternity, making it one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings of the year.

Meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah

A few days before exchanging vows, the couple met Narendra Modi and Amit Shah to personally extend their wedding invitations.

Sharing photographs from the meeting on her social media handle X, Rashmika described her interaction with the Prime Minister as special and memorable.

“Meeting Honourable Prime Minister @narendramodi sir and spending time talking about our culture and history was so special. The sweetest surprise was the thoughtful letter he wrote to my parents. Some moments just stay with you forever,” she wrote.

The actor also shared images from her meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, expressing gratitude for a Ganesh idol presented to the couple.

“Had the honour of meeting the Honourable Home Minister @AmitShah Sir. Grateful for the beautiful Ganesh idol that now has a special place in our home,” she added.
