Rashmika Mandanna explains why she recently went 'missing'

Actor Rashmika Mandanna took to Instagram to say she went missing for a while as she was shooting her upcoming film 'Rainbow' in no network areas.

"Guys sorry I went missing for a while. that's because we were mostly shooting in no network areas... but guys our first schedule wrap of #rainbow Thankyou #rainbow team for your hard work... you guys are awesome!," she said in the post while announcing the wrap-up of of the first schedule of 'Rainbow'. Among the pictures and videos, Rashmika Mandanna shared were a selfie with Dev Mohan, and time spent with her family members. She also shared photos of the shoot locations in Kodaikanal and Munnar.

Tamil-Telugu film 'Rainbow' is being helmed by Shantharuban.


"Munnar has some of the most beautiful views for sure," she posted.

Dev Mohan who has worked with Samantha in 'Shaakuntalam' playing the male lead in the movie Rainbow. The music score will be provided by Justin Prabhakaran. Written and directed by Shantharuban 'Rainbow' is an emotional journey that Rashmika wishes to bring alive on screen.

Rashmika was recently seen in the thriller film 'Mission Majnu' opposite actor Sidharth Malhotra which premiered on the OTT platform Netflix. Rashmika will be next seen in the upcoming pan India film 'Pushpa 2' opposite actor Allu Arjun.

She also shared a workout video and said that her sister had "come off to Chennai alone to watch me work" and mother "came to pick my sister up to go back home.."

Rashmika Mandanna, who has 38 million followers on Instagram, had recently performed at IPL 2023's grand opening ceremony at the Narendra Modi Stadium where B-town celebs like Arijit Singh, and Tamannaah Bhatia also entertained the audience with their amazing performances.

Rashmika Mandanna this year made it to the list of India’s top 25 most valued celebrity list for endorsements, according to ‘Celebrity Brand Valuation’ report by Kroll. Her brand value was pegged at $25.3 million . Ranveer Singh topped the list with his brand value pegged at $181.7 million. Virat Kohli has been ranked number two in the list, followed by Akshay Kumar at the third.
