Rashami Desai, Farah Khan and others pay final respects to Rakhi Sawant’s mother Jaya Bheda at her funeral

Rakhi Sawant’s mother, Jaya Bheda, passed away on Saturday after a long fight with her fourth-stage endometrial cancer. The 73-year-old was admitted to the hospital a couple of weeks ago to get her treatment done. Cancer unfurled all major parts of Jaya’s body - brain, lungs, and liver, which resulted in her death. On Sunday, the family got things ready for Jaya Bheda’s funeral.

Deepak Namjoshi, pulmonologist and director of the CritiCare Asia Multispeciality Hospital and Research Center, said that Jaya Bheda was treated elsewhere before but afterwards she was referred to this hospital in Mumbai. Rakhi Sawant and her husband Adil Khan went to the hospital before the funeral.

Actress Rashami Desai also visited Rakhi Sawant’s house to express her solace and condolences to the family. Apart from Rashami, Farah Khan, Ahsaan Qureshi, and other industry people came to Rakhi’s residence to show their respects during Jaya Bheda’s last rites. Rakhi Sawant also shared a heart-touching note on social media with the netizens on Saturday.
