Rani Mukerji-Starrer 'Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway' first look out; check release date here

The makers of 'Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway' unveiled the first look of Rani Mukerji's highly-anticipated film on Friday. The movie is helmed by Ashima Chibber and will hit the big screens on March 3, 2023.

Announcing the date of the film, Zee Studios dropped a still of the actress from the film and wrote, "Inspired by the true story of a mother who shook an entire nation with her courage and willpower to win back her children. #RaniMukerji's #MrsChatterjeeVsNorway to release in cinemas on 3rd March 2023."

The storyline of the film revolves around an Indian couple whose children were taken away from them by Norwegian welfare services in 2011. In order to regain custody of the children, an immigrant Indian mother fought the Norwegian foster care system and local judicial apparatus.


Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also shared Rani's first look. Taking to Twitter, the trade analyst wrote, “Rani Mukerji: Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway' release date confirmed ... Inspired by the true story of a mother who shook an entire nation with her courage and willpower to win back her children… #MrsChatterjeeVsNorway - starring #RaniMukerji - to release in cinemas on 3 March 2023.”

The movie is produced by Zee Studios and Emmay Entertainment (Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani & Nikkhil Advani). Earlier, the movie was supposed to hit the big screens in May 2022. However, the release got delayed, and now, the film will hit the big screens on March 3, 2023.

Apart from the film, the Hichki actress will also release a memoir on her birthday, March 21, 2023.
