Ram Navami 2026: Puja Vidhi and rituals
1. Devotees wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath.2. They clean the home and puja room and once the cleaning is done, they wear nice clean clothes.
3. Take a wooden plank and place an idol of Lord Ram or Ram Darbar and then light a diya in front of the idol or photo.
4. Adorn the idol and apply tilak and offer homemade sweets.
5. Since, Kanya pujan will also celebrated on the same day so people prepare food - halwa, poori and chana. 6. Invite small girls at home and feed them with food and give them gifts. You can also distribute the food to the needy girls.
7. People organise hawan, Ramayana path on this holy day.
8. They spend their day in performing various religious and spiritual activities to seek blessings of Goddess Durga and Shri Ram.
