Ram Charan expressed his desire to perform the RRR song Naatu Naatu at the upcoming Oscars ceremony next month. The Telugu song, which was written by Chandrabose and composed by MM Keeravaani, is a 95th Academy Award nominee for Best Original Song. It is up against songs by Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and songwriter Diane Warren.

Ram Charan, who is currently in America with director SS Rajamouli, has expressed an interest to perform the RRR song Naatu Naatu at the Oscars on March 12, 2023. While he admitted that the choreography would be difficult, he and co-star Jr NTR would be delighted to entertain the audience.

The Academy recently confirmed Rihanna's Academy award song ‘Lift Me’ from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. On Friday, it was announced that Sofia Carson and Diane would perform the other shortlisted song, Applause from the film Tell It Like a Woman. Academy CEO Bill Kramer stated on the Best in Show podcast that he had been working to guarantee that the Best Original Song performers will be up on stage during the live award ceremony.

Ram Charan stated that they would love to perform 'Naatu Naatu' anywhere they are appreciated, but not every venue allows them to do so. But, if they're at the Oscars and there's a request and time, why not? According to Ram Charan, they will happily entertain the audience that has given them so much. The entire number would be difficult to perform on stage because it requires a lot of breath and energy. But he will, without a doubt, do the hook step.

In the film, Ram and his co-star Jr NTR stun an almost British audience with their dancing abilities. Naatu Naatu previously took home the award for Best Original Song at the 80th Golden Globes ceremony. The song was choreographed by Prem Rakshith and was shot in Ukraine at the Mariinsky Palace (Ukraine Presidential Palace) in Kyiv.
