Ram Charan's wife, Upasana Kamineni, has confirmed that their first child would be born in India, despite speculations that they could be considering having the child in the United States.

RRR actor Ram Charan and his wife Upasana announced their impending parenthood in December 2022. Soon after, Ram Charan requested a consultation with Dr. Jennifer Ashton on the US television show Good Morning America. This led to rumours that the couple could give birth to their child in the United States. However, his wife, Upasana, has refuted all these rumours and revealed their real plan.

In a recent post, Upasana revealed that she will give birth to her kid in her native country, which is India. She stated that she would deliver her baby at The Apollo Hospitals, where she is Vice Chairperson of CSR.


She added that she will be surrounded by a top-notch OB/GYN team that includes Dr. Sumana Manohar, Dr. Rooma Sinha, and Dr. Jennifer Ashton.



She further expressed her anticipation for starting the new phase of her life, saying that with much excitement, this voyage will bring many wonderful adventures for her.
