Ram Charan and his wife Upasana ‘set up a small temple’ in Los Angeles before Oscars

RRR actor Ram Charan, who is known to be a devout Hindu, travels with a small portable temple with his favourite deities. The temple accompanied him to Los Angeles, where he campaigned for the Academy Awards.

According to a video shared, Ram Charan and his wife Upasana can be seen getting ready for the event in Los Angeles. The video begins with Ram Charan showing fans a small temple set up on a table in Los Angeles. He said that wherever he goes, he and his wife set up this small temple, he further said that this way simply connects them to their energies and India, and it is critical for all of them to begin this day by thanking and expressing gratitude to everyone who has helped them to get here.

Netizens have previously praised Ram Charan's religious disposition. He had previously mentioned his annual ‘Ayyappa deeksha’, or vows, in which he only wears black clothes, walks barefoot, and avoids non-vegetarian food for 40 days.

While admitting that nerves were getting the best of him ahead of the show, Ram Charan revealed that he had not seen his outfit until the morning of the show. Upasana Kamineni is also seen requesting waterproof makeup in case she tears up during the ceremony. Kamineni said, “If we win, I'm going to cry”. Upasana was also seen wearing a saree made by handloom artisans in her home state of Telangana.
