Rakhi Sawant launches acting academy in Dubai amid legal dispute with husband Adil Khan

Rakhi Sawant has established an acting academy in Dubai that would provide training for anyone wishing to work in Bollywood.

The actress and her husband, Adil Khan Durrani, are currently embroiled in a marital and legal battle after the actress made numerous accusations against Adil, who is presently in police detention.

Despite all this commotion, Rakhi seems to have resumed her professional duties with the opening of an acting academy in Dubai. She is travelling to Dubai to inaugurate her training facility.


Sawant reportedly established an institution in Dubai’s al Karama with the intention of educating aspiring performers from the Gulf area and other nations who want to work in Bollywood.

Rakhi herself made the announcement in a recent post on her Instagram account. In the picture, Rakhi is shown as being dressed in blue pants and a yellow sleeveless shirt, and she writes that she is going to Dubai.

In her post, she added that the inaugural ceremony will take place on March 1, 2023.

While in detention in Bombay for a domestic violence case brought by Sawant, Durrani was accused of raping and scamming an Iranian student in Mysuru. It was said that Durrani knew the student, who had spent the previous five years in the city studying to be a doctor of pharmacy. He reportedly raped her after offering to marry her.

The student has also charged Durrani with blackmailing her by threatening to post pictures of their intimate moments on social media.
