Rajkummar Rao responds to plastic surgery rumours, says “Nothing; I just smile. People are talking”

Rajkummar Rao has finally responded to rumours that he has undergone plastic surgery. In a recent interview, the Bheed actor was seen answering various questions about himself that had been posed by the internet. One of the questions raised was if he had undergone chin surgery. Rajkummar Rajkummar responded by stating that he had not undergone any procedures on his face.

Rajkummar said, no plastic surgery has been done. Rajkummar shared his reactions to these rumours by saying “Nothing, I just smile. People are talking”.

His most recent film is Bheed, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Ashutosh Rana, Pankaj Kapur, Kritika Kamra, Dia Mirza, Aditya Shrivastava, and other notable actors.


In 2013, he received the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Hansal Mehta’s biopic Shahid. He portrayed Mumbai lawyer and human rights campaigner Shahid Azmi, who was killed in 2010. He was acclaimed last year for his role as a closeted police officer in ‘Badhaai Do’.

The actor was most recently featured in Vasan Bala’s neo-noir film ‘Monica O My Darling’, in which he co-starred with Huma Qureshi, Radhika Apte, Sikandar Kher, and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. The movie is available on Netflix.

He will also appear alongside Janhvi Kapoor in Dharma Productions’ Mr And Mrs Mahi, and will play industrialist Srikanth Bolla in his biography Sri, which will be released later this year.

He is also in the upcoming period drama Guns & Gulaabs, which is made by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. Adarsh Gourav and Dulquer Salmaan are also in the Netflix show.
