Rajasthan PTET result 2026 out at ptetvmoukota2026.in: Check scorecard, direct link, counselling process and more

Thousands of candidates who appeared for the Rajasthan Pre Teacher Education Test (PTET) 2026 can check their results. Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota, has activated the link on its official website, ptetvmoukota2026.in.

Candidates will be required to use their roll number and other login credentials to download their scorecards.

PTET conducted for B.Ed and integrated teaching programmes

The PTET 2026 examination was held on June 14 for admission to the two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme and the four-year integrated B.A. B.Ed and B.Sc. B.Ed courses.


Prior to the declaration of results, VMOU released the provisional answer key on June 16. Candidates were given an opportunity to challenge discrepancies through the official portal between June 17 and June 19.

The result will include details such as marks obtained, category information, rank secured and the name of the examination. Candidates are advised to carefully verify all particulars after downloading their scorecards.

Counselling schedule to be announced after results

Following the declaration of results, qualified candidates will be required to participate in the counselling process for admission and seat allotment. VMOU will publish the counselling timetable, registration dates and other admission-related instructions on its official website.

The counselling procedure will begin with candidate registration. Applicants will then be required to submit their preferred colleges for admission. Seat allotment will be carried out based on factors including rank, category, seat availability, course selection and college preferences.

Candidates satisfied with their allotted institutions must report to the respective colleges within the prescribed deadline and submit the necessary documents. Those seeking a different institution may apply for upward movement in accordance with the prescribed procedure.

State-level entrance examination for teacher education courses

PTET is a state-level entrance examination conducted annually by VMOU in offline pen-and-paper mode for admission to two-year B.Ed and four-year integrated B.Ed programmes in Rajasthan.

The examination assesses candidates on English communication skills, mental ability, general awareness and teaching aptitude. More than 900 institutions across the state, including universities, government-funded teacher training colleges and private B.Ed colleges, accept PTET scores for admission.

Around 1.50 lakh applications are typically received each year. In 2026, nearly 1.26 lakh candidates appeared for the examination.
