The Railway Ministry has said neither it or the RPF has issued any notification.
The Ministry of Railways and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has issued a clarification regarding a "fictitious message” circulating in media about recruitment to 9,000 constable posts.

The Railway Ministry has said neither it or the RPF has issued any notification.

“A fictitious message is being circulated in media regarding recruitment of 9000 posts for constables in Railway Protection Force (RPF).It is hereby informed that no such notification has been issued by RPF or Ministry of Railways on their official websites or through any print or electronic media," the statement added.


In June, Railways said it will recruit nearly 1.48 lakh people over the next one year after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's instructed various departments and ministries to recruit 10 lakh people in in the next 18 months.
